Marketplace at Highland Village
For this large mixed-use development, Dunaway provided site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and survey services. Along with overall site design, the project required extensive water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure to serve all proposed buildings. The site also required the design of a large retention basin across approximately 4.5 acres, as well as several very large retaining walls, including one approximately 1,000 linear feet in length with a maximum height of approximately 15 feet. The development required numerous offsite roadway improvements, including road widening on two separate TxDOT roads to allow construction of deceleration lanes and right turn lanes into the development. We also ensured all ordinances and criteria within the City of Highland Village were met.
