Sr. Project Manager – Civil

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manages projects and client relationships
  • Manages multi-discipline projects
  • Responsible for guiding the DL II and overseeing their projects
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with the QA/QC process for all projects
  • Responsible for ensuring projects are accurate and schedule for all projects managed by them and their team(s)
  • Responsible for project financials on all projects managed by them and their team(s)
  • Manages proposal preparation independently
  • Reviews proposals prepared by the Project Manager II and below
  • Manages Discipline Lead II and below
  • May manage multiple teams or a specialty group
  • Handles escalated employee matters
  • Responsible for managing employee development and employee performance
  • Execute the strategic and/or sales plan for your team(s)

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least eight years of civil design experience or twelve years of relevant civil design experience without a degree
  • Four years of experience as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
  • At least three years of project management experience including financial analysis
  • At least three years of client management experience required
  • Two-four years of experience in a supervisor role
  • Two-four years of business development experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Civil 3D, Microstation or discipline specific software
  • Proficient in Dunaway CAD standards
  • Proficient in Dunaway design standards
  • In-depth knowledge of line of business
  • Strong knowledge of Dunaway and AEC industry project disciplines
  • Advanced ability to estimate costs associated with technical tasks
  • Advanced understanding and ability to deliver project requirements successfully
  • Advanced understanding and management of project financial performance metrics in accordance with company goals
  • Ability to manage multi-discipline projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Survey Field Assistant

Category: Manual Labor, Full Time

Under the direct supervision of the Party Chief, conduct all preparatory work for daily surveying as well as assist in performing all surveying functions, including field staking and compilation of survey field data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of and proficiency with mid-level math skills (as confirmed with a passing score on applicable pre-employment testing)

Soft/Other Skills
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to meet “Physical Demands” section of this document, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• One year or more experience in land surveying
• Knowledge of general field surveying methods and use of surveying equipment

  • Responsible for the completion of QA/QC process on projects
  • Responsible for ensuring project and project tasks remain accurate and on schedule

  • Frequent interactions with clients regarding projects and project tasks

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Assistant Project Managers and below

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least six years of civil design experience or nine years of relevant civil design experience without a degree
  • At least one year of project tasks management experience including financial analysis
  • At least one year of client interaction experience required
  • Zero-two years of experience in a supervisor role
  • Zero-two years of business development experience
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Civil 3D or Microstation
  • Proficient in Dunaway CAD standards
  • Proficient in Dunaway design standards
  • In-depth technical knowledge of line of business
