Survey Project Manager – RPLS

Location: Midland

Working with the Sr. Discipline Lead / Line of Business Executive/Manager, direct and manage all aspects of assigned projects with regard to the practice of Professional Land Surveying, including proposal preparation, entitlement processes, billing, scheduling, development of cost opinions, as well as client interaction, design team communication and management, and coordination of authorities having jurisdiction and general contractors and consultants, all to ensure successful completion of the project in compliance with all contractual provisions and timeframe/budget limitations; act as the primary administrator and communications link between the firm and client, as well as with the general contractor and consultants; supervise Discipline Lead I’s and other production staff

• Bachelor’s Degree in project discipline or eight years of direct experience as equivalent
• Licensed as Registered Professional Land Surveyor
• With degree, at least six years related experience in land surveying
• At least three years prior project management experience
• Prior experience managing other employees

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• In-depth knowledge of professional land surveying
• Solid knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office
• Knowledge of and abilities with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of and ability to estimate costs associated with technical tasks
• Solid understanding of project requirements
• Firm understanding of project financial performance metrics

• Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams successfully
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics or other Geosciences
• Prior business development experience
